ERIC P. NORWOOD, FACHE, PCC
As a Strategic Advisor and Leadership Coach, Eric Norwood serves as a change catalyst for his clients - coming alongside them as a trusted, experienced advisor to help them gain insights for improved performance by building on their strengths.
His experience in transformational leadership came as a healthcare CEO, coaching high performance teams and building integrated systems of care in partnership with physicians. He worked for over 30 years as a senior leader in hospitals and heath systems in Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia.
Most recently, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of DeKalb Medical, a 627 – bed, 3-hospital health system with net revenues of $400M and 3500 employees in metro Atlanta. He led a successful strategic and operational turnaround and expansion of that health system, centered on the creation of an innovative, clinically integrated network of over 400 independent physicians and hospitals.
Eric has a record of delivering strategic and operational success through principle-based leadership. “I’m passionate about building and coaching high-performance teams to restore trust and achieve top-line growth, expense reduction and quality improvement. Eric received a B.B.A. degree in Management from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, and a Master of Health Administration degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. He is board certified as a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is a graduate of The Hudson Institute of Coaching and is a Professionally Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation.
Eric counts his family as the most significant accomplishment in his life. He and his wife, Nancy, have six children, ages 42 to 22, and seven grandchildren. Eric has enjoyed many years of adventures with his kids, including numerous music performances, Boy Scout adventures, a mission trip to Kenya to work with a Christian ministry to HIV widows and orphans, and earning a Black Belt in Karate with his two youngest sons in 2009. Nancy and Eric make their home in the mountains of Central Arizona.
JANET C. DOMBROWSKI
Janet Dombrowski spent nearly 20 years as a senior strategy leader in various consulting organizations and large health systems, after early career in health care delivery and operations. Having built her personal credibility as a trusted advisor to many executives with intuition, integrative thinking and a direct approach, Janet wanted to bring more of her "self" to her work. She chose to build on her skills at creating synergy and ensuring alignment in projects and processes to doing the same for individuals and teams through organizational development consulting and executive coaching.
Janet’s coaching and consulting work today is exclusively focused on supporting C-suite executives in becoming more intentional about their leadership presence, their contribution to organizational culture, and the importance of aligning in strategy, structure, and culture for optimal performance. She has worked with senior executives and physician leaders and their teams in academic medical centers, national faith-based health systems, regional integrated delivery systems, community hospitals and health centers. She has additional experience in higher education and non-profit social service organization.
Janet received her Master in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan, where she remains active as the chair of the Alumni Board and as an adjunct faculty member. Janet has additional certifications from the Harvard Program on Negotiation, Wisdom Works in Transformational Coaching and other certifications in culture shaping and a variety of leadership assessments. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan.
John Fletcher, MBA, FACHE
As a Strategic advisor and Leadership Coach, John is a Healthcare innovator and experienced leader based in Seattle, Washington. His experience includes over 30 years in executive leadership with Providence Health & Services at the operational and strategic levels in Oregon, Montana, Washington and California. John understands the economic and political pressure of the “C” suite, having served 8 years as a regional Chief Executive overseeing a $2 Billion operation with 9 hospitals and over 21,000 employees. He also understands that to be successful, trust, empathy and self-awareness are every bit as important as financial, marketing and business strategy.
Called upon to develop, launch, and integrate new and profitable service models in response to glacial shifts in Healthcare funding and access, John’s vision, relational integrity, and integrated view of service and business now guide his work with current and emerging Healthcare Executives, Physicians and Boards. His Coaching and Consulting expertise is centered in strategic, collaborative and rational approaches to executive development and success. John is respected for his professionalism, ability to build strong personal relationships and his commitment to helping others learn, develop and realize their full leadership potential.
A certified coach by the Hudson Institute for Coaching and the International Coaching Federation, John is also a Fellow in both the American College of Healthcare Executives and The Harvard Institute of Coaching. He is a KRH licensed consultant and certified in Hogan Assessments. John holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Portland State University in Oregon and a Bachelor Degree from the University of Nebraska.
John and his wife Anne have two daughters who also live in the Pacific Northwest. Most recently they have new grandson, Jack, who is the joy of the family. When John is not working he is enjoying the outdoors while fly-fishing, skiing, golfing or hiking. He continues to be grounded in the mission of healthcare for the poor and vulnerable and is actively involved with various not for profit organizations in the Northwest.
CHERYL D. FOSS, MSW
Cheryl Foss has over 18 years of Leadership Development, Team Development, Strategy Development, Organization Design, and Change Management experience. She integrates extensive experience and deep knowledge in these areas in her work as an executive coach and consultant to elevate performance in complex systems and help executives achieve unsurpassed results.
Cheryl has deep experience in healthcare as well as significant experience across industries in Hi-tech, academia, manufacturing, energy, hospitality, financial, consulting, government and non-profit organizations. She draws from her understanding of organizational, interpersonal and leadership dynamics in her coaching approach to ensure the greatest impact with her clients. Cheryl has assisted clients in mergers, building their executive teams, creating and deploying their strategies, building relationships, redesigning organizations, and many other leadership challenges.
Cheryl graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore with her Masters in Social Work specializing in the work environment. She also received her Bachelors in Business specializing in Management Development from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is certified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and specializes in many other assessments in her coaching work.
DANNY SILVERMAN, MD, MPA
Danny Silverman is a physician executive with extensive experience at premier academic institutions (Harvard University, Princeton University) major healthcare organizations (Harvard Medical School, BJC HealthCare System, Washington University School of Medicine, Sinai Hospital of Baltimore), and consulting organizations (CSC/APM Healthcare Consulting, Keeling and Associates Higher Education Consulting). Throughout his career he has shown the ability to think strategically, drive innovation, develop leaders, and create programs that improve the health, wellbeing and career success of others.
Before launching his current coaching and consulting practice, Danny served as Chief Medical Officer of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, the flagship acute care facility of LifeBridge Health System. There he developed the role reporting directly to the CEO which included leading all Chiefs of Service, the more than 1,200 credentialed physicians and worked closely with the senior executive leadership team and the Board of Trustees. He was the physician champion for healthcare quality improvement and clinical effectiveness, clinical informatics, and physician integration strategy. He also served as the Executive Medical Director of Sinai Physician Partners.
Prior to joining LifeBridge Health, Danny was Chief Medical Officer and Executive Director of University Health Services at Princeton University. In this role, he facilitated collaborative efforts of the student affairs and campus life units to design, develop and implement several innovative health and wellness initiatives including the Healthier Princeton Program, the Princeton Depression Awareness Program and the multi-college, National College Depression Partnership.
Danny has vast experience in building coalitions of departmental chairs, physicians, allied health professionals and administrators to develop and implement population-based healthcare programs. He’s worked closely with physician leaders, hospital and health plan administrators and allied healthcare professionals in the redesign and continuous quality improvement of clinical delivery systems in community and teaching hospitals and academic medical centers in the United States and Canada.
Dr. Silverman earned his Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude majoring in psychology and pre-medical studies at the University of Michigan. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Northwestern University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Boston’s Beth Israel Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He holds a Masters of Public Administration degree from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.
